The stylish Elipta Modula Recessed Uplight (brass) 12v will take a choice of 3w to 8w MR16 low energy LED lamps, resulting in a low lens temperature, which is important in walkover areas. The adjustable lampholder assembly can be raised or lowered within the lamp housing and tilted up to 30° which is useful for uplighting columns and statues.
This garden light is fitted with a flush clear lens as standard, whilst the light is located by two silicone “O” rings on the body into a polycarbonate recessed sleeve tube. To facilitate the removal of screws for future relamping or other maintenance, apply copper grease to the threads of all screws being fitted for retention of bezels, grills or other top plates or retaining rings. Copper grease resists degradation due to heat and protects against difficulty in removing screws, particularly where stainless steel screws are fitted with aluminium parts. It may also be used on screw threads of screw-off bezels or glare shields. Ensure surplus is cleaned off with a solvent to prevent staining in use.

The plastic sleeve is built in during construction or retrofitted into a hole cut with a coring bit: the light pushes into the tube, where it is held firmly in place by an o-ring. Connect input cable to cable from transformer using T9962 cable joint or T9963 cable splice kit. |
