The Elipta Portland Brass Post Light is ideally suited for mounting on posts and walls to give a 360° spread of light. Construction is from solid brass and a sturdy ribbed glass lamp housing, whilst it accepts 240v E27 LED lamps. The Portland Post Light may be bolted to paving and slabs, or an optional ground spike is available for installation in planting and lawn areas.

Direct connection to lamp holder through base of fitting.
Using a single RCD for large numbers of 240v fittings is not recommended due to the risk of nuisance tripping. We advise the use of separate RCD protection for each circuit and a maximum of 12 fittings per RCD. Where a garden lighting installation of more than 12 240v lights per circuit is proposed, we suggest the installation of 12v units with transformers, which results in a significantly higher fault tolerance and reliability in the total installation |
